Ex-chanteur de pop raté, comme il l’avoue, ex-prof d’anglais, ex-correspondant étranger en France, Darren a toujours rêvé de Paris. Il fait partie des consultants de l’émission «L’Equipe du Dimanche» sur Canal + où il présente les résultats du foot anglais. On peut dire qu’Hervé Mathoux (ex-présentateur de l’émission) ne s’était pas trompé en le faisant venir sur la chaîne cryptée. Aujourd’hui, l’Anglais vole de ses propres ailes et squatte l’antenne de Canal+ avec ses émissions “Match of ze day”, une émission sur le football anglais, juste avant Jour de foot et Fabulous Sport qu’il a créées, il y a bientôt deux ans. Sans oublier (bien sûr) sa chronique dans l’Équipe du Dimanche, cette émission qui l’a fait débuter et à travers laquelle il est entré dans nos cœurs.

The Korean War was also the proving ground for post-World War II aviation, when the first generation of jet aircraft took to the skies to tangle in deadly combat. It was the battlefield for Sabres and MiGs, American Hot Shots and Communist Honchos. And more than ever before, control of the skies meant victory or failure in the ground war raging below. Among the men who tell their stories are Lieutenant Colonel Duane E. "Bud" Biteman, one of the first fliers in the war; Lieutenant General Frederick "Boots" Blesse, a double ace who led efforts to refine tactical training for the new jet pilots; Colonel Cecil Foster, who fought in one of the longest running air-to-air jet encounters; and Colonel Harold Fischer, a double ace flier who was captured behind enemy lines and held as a POW until 1955, two years after the official end of the war.
